Food and Biotech Applications

Sepro has products for and experience with the application of semi-permeable membranes in the food and biotech manufacturing industries. 

All of Sepro’s membranes and construction materials are approved for use with liquid food products under the regulations published in 21 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) parts 174.5, 175, 176, 177, 178, 179.45, and related sections.

Sepro’s sanitary element construction meets the requirements established in the 3A Sanitary Standards for Crossflow Membrane Modules, number 45-01. Our element construction has been examined and accepted by the USDA for dairy applications.  All of our food process products are manufactured to the same standards.
